Specialty Papers Europe is currently recruiting speakers for the 2026 event. If you would like to speak on any of the below themes or another topic related to the specialty papers industry, we want to hear from you!

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

• Brand owner perspectives, industry collaboration and future requirements
• Market outlooks; sector overviews e.g. hygiene and healthcare
• Regulatory outlook
• Regulation - technical, material and R&D challenges; recyclability (PPWR); definition of plastic; substances of concern and PFAS
• Coatings and barriers - base paper properties; latest developments in barrier technologies, research and innovations; coatings for heat sealing
• Upscaling of lab scale proven barrier materials
• Converting challenges and solutions - barriers; machinery and productivity updates
• Start ups focus and emerging/innovative technologies and applications
• Paper replacing plastic - case studies; material innovations; technical considerations
• Recycling of fiber-based food packaging materials
